I was really looking forward to going home for the first time in 6 years to visit my family. I'm a veteran but after my time in the military I decided to stay in California after falling in love with the state. With Covid happening along with work obligations I just haven't had a chance to travel. Rather silly, but while booking my hotel to New York I booked the wrong dates!
